At IO Circle, we believe in full transparency. Every refurbished device we sell is carefully inspected and graded so you know exactly what you're getting. Here's what each grade means:

🟢 Grade A — Like New

Fully Functional & No Dents

This is our top-tier grade. Grade A devices are in excellent condition and have been tested to ensure everything works perfectly.

• ✅ Fully functional — all features, buttons, and ports work as expected
• ✅ No dents or structural damage
• ✅ No visible scratches on the screen or body
• ⚠️ Minor signs of usage may be present (e.g., light scuff marks that are only visible at certain angles)

Best for: Customers who want a near-new experience at a great price.

🟡 Grade Good — Good Condition

Fully Functional with Cosmetic Wear

Grade Good devices are completely functional but show more noticeable cosmetic signs of previous use.

• ✅ Fully functional — all features, buttons, and ports work as expected
• ⚠️ Cosmetic dents may be present (minor, not affecting usage)
• ⚠️ Visible scratches on the body or screen
• ℹ️ Performance and functionality are not impacted

Best for: Customers who prioritize performance over appearance and want to save more.

🟠 Grade Fair — Fair Condition

Functional with Known Limitations

Grade Fair devices are usable but come with specific hardware limitations that are clearly disclosed.

• ✅ Core functions work
• ⚠️ Touch ID may not function
• ⚠️ Physical condition may or may not be good — varies per device
• ℹ️ All known issues are disclosed before purchase

Best for: Customers who don't rely on Touch ID and want a budget-friendly option.

🔵 Grade Parts / External Display — For External Use Only

Without Display / Without Touch ID

These are specialty units intended for specific use cases. They are sold as-is for customers who have a particular need.

• ℹ️ No built-in display — designed to be used with an external monitor
• ℹ️ Touch ID is not functional
• ✅ Suitable for use as a desktop setup with an external display, keyboard, and mouse
• ℹ️ Great for office or workstation setups where the screen is not needed

Best for: Power users, developers, or businesses looking for a compact workstation solution.
